Men's Divisions - women's divisions will be available, but only if there are enough interested parties to respond.
As with any tournament in December, darkness will be an issue. We will be bracketing teams early to optimize playing time. Therefore, we would like a $200 "good faith" deposit for each team planning to participate and would like the money no later than Tuesday, November 27, 2007. This will guarantee each team will get 4 games. An after party will, of course be held at the end of the day. Concessions will be sold and we will ask each team to provide a biography so that it can be featured in our program. There will also be a medical tent to provide first aid as necessary.
Pre-registration also allows us to set up the brackets so that we can let the teams know in advance when their games will be played and therefore when to plan to arrive for the tournament. Deposits will not be refunded after November 30, 2007. If there are not enough women teams interested then we will not have a women's division. For the program we would like the following information:
- Team Name
- Division/Conference played in
- Division level
- Historic Performance (i.e. how did the team do last year? Playoffs? Championship? Anything they would like others to know about their club - Please limit commentary to 1/4 page)
- This season's aspirations (Please limit commentary to 1/4 page)
- Contact information
Each team will have one page devoted to them. We will write a short bio for each team and it will be in the program.
